After planning, preparing, and hosting your wedding day, unwrapping the gifts may seem like the final step until you jet away on your honeymoon; however, you may be forgetting one small, polite gesture. Sending a thank you note for attending your wedding shows gratitude, as well as presents an opportunity to send out photos of your day. Occasions by M&K help you with the who, what when, and how of sending TY notes.
When: A grace period of a month or two is custom due to the honeymoon and adjustment period of living together; however, make sure to postmark your cards in a timely fashion, for wedding guests do not want to feel forgotten.
Who:
Catering Company
Wedding Planner
Those who planned/ attended your bridal shower
Those who planned/ attended your wedding shower
Bride and Groom’s Parents
Bridal Party (especially the M.O.H.)
Venue Coordinator
Florist
All Guests (regardless if they gave presents)
How: A thank you note does not have to be a hand-written note. If you had a large attendance, a printed card with a message for you and the groom is just fine. Feel free to customize and play with this classic convention.
What: A thank you card can be used to thank a guest for a specific gift or for simply sharing in the big day. If your guest list contained only family and close friends, perhaps try to write out the cards by hand.
