Budgeting for a wedding can be rather stressful, especially once you factor in asking relatives to pick up the bill. According to Invitations by Dawn, the brides family is responsible for paying for the venue while the groom’s family is typically responsible for covering the costs of the marriage license and hosting the rehearsal dinner.
